This is a really cute board book about the relationship between a mother and baby turtle. What makes this one really special is the shaped 1/2 pages that change the picture when you turn them. Would be a lovely gift for a 1st birthday.

The book is a small board book and contains just 26 pages. The illustrations throughout are so adorable and you can’t help loving little Baba who wants to enjoy all there is to offer in the world and is easily surprised. There are also cut-out sections throughout the pages which add to the aesthetics.
The story is told in a rhyming style and with just a few words on each page, this would make a wonderful book for new readers to practice with.
The plot is very simple but it is so heart-warming and adorable as the turtles obviously love one another and mamma turtle will do anything to keep her child full of happiness.
